Wren would have loved it here in South-est, central-est Wisconsin yesterday, then. We got plenty of snow. Indeed, today's outside looks much like your Christmas photo above.

I had a dog who loved digging a nice 'nest' into a snowpile and laying there all day in the sun. We found Bucky (who had been dropped off in the ditch) walking down the road in a blizzard and brought the tiny thing home. Just a baby, I had to put a brick on each stair step so he could climb up into the house. For a foundling, he was one super sweet dog who lived with us for over 18 years.

We got a skiff of snow last night. Larka is ecstatic! Silly dog is running crazy figure eights out on the lawn, scooping up snow as she goes.

Yes, Cee Cee was out playing in the snow as we shoveled yesterday. Nose three inches into the snow and running as fast as she can.
