green pumpkin...?

hi,
i have this green pumpkin that's not ripening quick enough, the cold got to it and the pumpkin looks fine but the vines aren't. Will pumpkins ripen off the vine??

I hope you get an answer, as I am in the same predicament, my pumpkins are not ripe but we had an early frost and the vines are pretty well dead.

Hi chickchic,
yeah, i hope we get an answer too, my pumpkin is mostly green but is turning a little yellowish orange each day, hopefully it'll ripen fine.
