My name is Dean and I am from Northeastern Iowa. I have reduced my garden over the years, but hopefully this year I can expand a bit. I grow a bit of everything and grow mainly heirlooms.

Dean

hello and welcome to TEG from another mid-westerner (up in Michigan). :)

Welcome to the forum from Texas! Glad to have you here, post pictures of your garden so we can admire it. Haha, right now you would be posting pictures of snow. Stay warm until spring!

Welcome from north Idaho, Dean :frow

It's a closely guarded secret that snow makes a great cover crop, right?
We can't expect a poor Texan to know that.

Hi Dean, and Welcome! You will find some good advice here, and a lot of silliness, particularly in the winter when we are bored.

And your cover crop is free, needs no maintenance, and does not have to be plowed under, it just goes away by itself. Win-Win!
