Hello Folks,
I am a Native (First Nations) Grandma, living on 45 acres. in what we call Wendake Gahen, and what other people call: Ontario, Canada.
I plant only: indigenous foods, heirloom, non-GM foods.
We do not use chemicals of any kind.
Looking forward to sharing here.

Welcome to the forum! Glad you joined us.

You should have an interesting growing season and maybe some new crops for us up there. I'm looking forward to seeing what you grow and how you grow it.

@LadyCedar, WELCOME... looking forward to learning more!
Wow!, I'm not sure what I would do with 45 acres, but it would for sure take more than one of me. :D

Welcome LadyCedar! This is one of the nicest forums you will ever find. Everyone is knowledgeable, caring, and willing to help others out. Are most of your acreage wooded? How big is your garden? What do you do with your excess produce? I'm trying to get to know you in case you haven't noticed. ;)

Welcome from Texas! I grow only non GMO vegetables and use no chemicals on the garden or yard. The growing season is practically all year long, just switch to cool weather crops in the fall. I am interested to hear more about your garden and what you are growing. Do you keep chickens or any livestock?
