YEAH, Good to know the surgery is behind you. Now concentrate on getting back on your feet/foot! Hope the healing happens quickly.
Good luck-you are very brave.Well, I had the foot surgery today, and I'm sitting here waiting for time to take a pain pill.
My toes are still numb, but the incision site is not.
The surgeon "trimmed down" the bones in my big toe, shaped up the ends of the joint, added a pin in each end, and put in a couple of screws. The result will be the fusion of the joint.
Hopefully by spring it will be good as new.
I'll just be happy to walk and hike.
I'm doing pretty good, thanks, Nyboy. Hobbling around. My DH suggested he strap a piece of 2x4 to the bottom of my good foot, so both legs would be the same length when I try to walk. (thick boot) I just need a couple of big screws sticking out of the sides of my head, to complete the Frankenstein walk. How are you feeling today
Welll, he's trying. I'm trying to take Steve's advice and be patient with him.Is hubby taking good care of you ?
