Five pretty blue eggs.

Five new babies, a day or two old.
It looks like things are just right for the Eastern Bluebirds this year. They have brooded THREE Clutches of five (5). Brand new babies today.

Carol ours have been amazing this year... they have some favorite birdhouses they won't share. I love watching them come and go all day. AND how they chase the mocking birds away.

What a wonderful thing! I am always so pleased if a bird decides to make their home in my yard...I never see bluebirds- what an incredible sight! Those pictures are gorgeous! I know we just got a new pic of the week- but we need one of those for next week!!

Thanks for all the complements. It is going to my head! I love those birds. I think they are helping keep the nasty hornworms in some control. Now to teach them to chase away the bunnies.
