it all worked out well. good food, family, some conversation, a bit of a nap and the drive was safe.

We had our family meal yesterday and it was particularly wonderful. The food was delicious, the overall ambiance was peaceful and joyful and we sorted family pictures, so lots of reminiscing going on also.

I hope all you fine folks on TEG had as good a time as we did! Every day is a thanks giving day here on the homestead, so we don't normally set aside a particular day for such a thing, but yesterday was a spectacular day and for that I gave much thanks to the Lord.
