I wanted to let you know-I composted the rose bushes, and have a chicken poo tea "cooking" on the back porch. I just checked them, and there are tons of little buds all over the bushes. Thank you so much for the great advice!

I'll post pics when they bloom.

:rose

(that's what my roses are going to look like! :p)

Sorry, I didn't see your call to me until just now! I've been out in the garden here......it's finally warm enough to want to spend time out there; such a relief. :celebrate

I am so glad the bushes are finally showing you they want to live & be pretty for you..........! Perhaps they can already smell the manure tea.... :gig It is very smelly once it stews a bit in the sunshine.......PHEW....!

I hope they will bring you lots of pleasure over the coming years.

Good luck to you!

Ya mean now I have to brew it too‼ :p

My favorite collection..if I have to say itpooo, is the first plops in the morning. They are the size of baseballs. It never seems to amaze me that the girls can hold on to this all night, and then present me with these gems the first thing in the morning. :ep

A few weeks ago, I put one of these bombs directly on my two foot high peach tree. I know that I am not supposed to put this stuff on the plants fresh from the source. However, this mountainous gift was in my way, so I threw it into the protective stones encircling the little tree.

The tree is now three foot tall with numerous new branches and leaves. The old tree was a wreck from neglect, and I thought I would start a junior and see what would happen. Chicken poo is amazing stuff. :watering

I have a pitiful rose that I will try this on. :rose
