Help in the Garden

I have to depend on help with weekend house, I am there so little. The landscaper who cuts the grass every week has been with me 4 or 5 years. First 2 years when ever I planted something new, there was a chance of it being mowed down. I learn when planting add large Cirluce of mulch , now it is rare for plant to be mowed. Weeds in my flower bed where really getting out of control. 2 seasons ago I had a local woman weed all the beds for a hourly rate. I called her last week. I got to my house last night at dusk, I could tell said had been there during the week. I was so happy this morning go out to see weed free beds. Then I went to front of house and almost cried. I had planted thyme in between the paving stones. it was not easy to do. I was on my belly digging out dirt from cracks with a butter knife to plant it. It was starting to spread I was very happy with how it was coming out. ALL GONE WEEDED OUT> In her defense there was a lot of dandelion growing in the cracks too. Oh Well flower beds look nice.

You can always plant again. But do tell her what it is. It probably had to go though with all those dandelions.

The memories as I was laying on my stomach in middle of walkway to plant, a passing neighbor saw me and thought I had a heart attack. nope I am ok just gardening.
