ok, my late grandmother was in love with herbs and Tyhmes
at her old house, my dad lives there, but he dont know if he can keep the house
if he cant, i want to save her herbs and stuff
i know a little about them, but not a whole lot
anything will be helpful!

Most herbs should be very easy to transplant. Dig up a clump and plant it in your garden... Watch out for the really invasive stuff. I'll bet your grandmother had a large patch of mint- keep that in a pot. On this subject- I would say try and transplant anything you like from her garden. What have you got to lose?? Good luck

ok :)
she had LOTS of mint
she had rosemary, mint, different flavored mints, lemon tyhme ect
=.O she had a fairy thing...we used to go "Fairy Hunting"
and we used to make fairy houses....at the time i wanted to crawl up in a tree and die, but now im glad i did it with her :)

What lovely memories! I love fairy gardens- a bunch of people on here have really cute ones! Keep those mints in pots- they will take over the world!

Oh that sounds so nice. My daughter and I just started making fairy houses for our garden.

Lesa is right, most Herbs are so hardy they can take transplants easily. You can probably move anything you want. :D
