Planting season should be here before we know it. I just saw a bluebird! Well, it might have been a robin as the window was hazy - but I saw it!:weee

Planting season is practically here. I'll start my peppers and tomatoes in about a week. I know you're a little further north Seedo, but it's acomin', it's acomin'.

I'm just getting to the stage in my tomato gardening career where I'm glad to be able to grow some.

I am not ready to stop growing beefsteaks just because there are none that have seasons that can't be measured by a few weeks if not a few days here. I'm happy to have a few and LOADS of smaller tomatoes!

A bluebird? Nooo! Single digitS' here this morning, below zero soon, we are told.

Now that I think about it, I've heard Kingfishers chattering lately. They are blue so it could have been a Kingfisher. They usually come out a little early but not too early, so either way I'm taking it as a good sign.

I'd give one of my arms for planting season to be here now, but I need that to till...

:) Ah-ha I remember that song. :) Had me smiling and taping my toes. Thanks for sharing. We will be starting tomatoes in the basement soon. Weeks away from being able to work in the garden. :( Several inches of snow and single digit temps again the week. Winter was COLD and LONG this year.
