I had Microsoft's Hotmail e-mail for many years. For the last 2 days I haven't been able to log in. So I called Microsoft's customer serice who ran a diagnostic on my computer and found that my hotamil account was being hacked by some VERY BAD GUYS from Russia, China, N. Korea, and Nigeria for the past 2 months and has a trojan horse and worm implanted. I have McAfee service , and I ran another diagnostic for my computer again, and it shows a history of killing viruses etc. and currently has 0 issues. Microsft says that my e-mail is the only issue and that McAfee service doesn't address that... so Microsft wants $499.99 to fix the account issues. Too much, so I opened a new e-mail account with gmail. I hope that works ! Ayone have any ideas or comments ? :hu

Occasionally my computer locks up when Microsoft claims there are dangerous severe virus issues, viruses at work right now ruining my computer. Call this number immediately. The first time that happened I took it into Best Buy where we have an account for them to manage computer issues. They said, yeah, there are some cookies and such but nothing bad. We use Webroot anti-virus, by the way. Now, when that happens I power down the computer (the Microsoft program running won't let me just delete their message, I have to turn the computer off to reboot), turn it back on, and run a virus scan. Usually nothing is found so I just carry on. I figure it is a marketing method to sell their anti-virus program.
