I have 2 accounts with my oil company 1 for home and 1 for work. I just got a delivery heating oil is $3.10 a gallon. That seems high to me how much do you pay?

Looks like you are about $.70 per gallon higher than Indiana.

I use LP which is about $1.30/gallon.

We have a fuel oil furnace, but in the 9 years we've been here we've never used it or had the tank filled. I do wonder what it might cost. It's there for backup anyway. We burn wood solely. Now you can't get much more cost efficient than that! We get too hot and have to open the windows sometimes. No worries about energy efficiency, because the stove has to be able to "breathe" anyway.

Isn't fuel oil a type of diesel fuel? Should be similar in cost I'd think.

My little sister was shopping around for my dad, she got us a great deal locked in $2.67 for 1 year. My sister who is a home make has all this time since both her kids away at school. She has saved me money on health insurance, cell phone, cable and now heating oil :celebrate:ya:weee
