Slow day at work been pour rain all day, clients all changed their appointments. I ran out to run a errand and came back to a clean keyboard and screen. Didn't realize how dirty keys where till seeing them clean. One of the guys decide they needed a good cleaning. How often to you clean yours?

I clean mine when they get dirty. I dip a used old toothbrush in Windex, shake it off. Then brush the keys with it. Then, I wipe it down with a dry cloth or paper towel. If I need to, I will repeat.

I use canned air.

Every 6 or 8 weeks, blowing I every direction.

"Things" get cleaned when monitor needs cleaned. It will prompt the activity first. I may as well take a swipe at everything else at that time.

Every three months or so. I eat over top of mine also, so banging it upside down on the desk, sweeping it with the brush attachment on the sweeper and spraying it down with Tub and Tile cleaner for a good wipe down is the extent of my cleaning.

I do have a mini vacuum system -- never remember to use it -- or can't find it when I want it. I do occasionally run the duster over the top and once I tipped it upside down and shook the keyboard. That's it.

I don't eat or drink in the computer/office room so accidental cleanings are unlikely.

I drink coffee at the computer but I try to not take a sip when reading Bay's or Thistle's posts so I'm not that likely to burst out laughing at the wrong time. Very few accidental cleanings. I don't eat in here.

A few years back I had a cream colored keyboard that did get pretty dirty. I took the keys off and cleaned them once. That looked a lot better. But I now have a black keyboard so that problem has been eliminated.
