How old is a 4.5 in banana tree

more information is needed to determine this.
I have a two foot plant, that is about a year old. its growth has been stunted by the rocky soil and excessive wind of the location i chose for it. The others i planted at the same time but in more hospitable conditions are 12 tall and should be producing fruit in the next 2-4 months.
Does it have full sized leaves or is it still producing the thin blade shaped ones?
