Anyone remember my boo boo last year of pruning my hydrangeas and ending up with no flowers last year?! Yeah, big NO NO! Do not prune your hydrangeas... buds for flowers are set on new branches from the year before...

Anyways... I have blooms for the first time!!!!

Hooray!!!

This is the endless summer one in blue... however you can see its going a bit purple... so.... more or less acid to the soil? I am thinking more.... I will probably just dump some more coffee grounds around the bush.

I just wanted to share... extremely thrilled!!!! :D

Your hydrangeas are just beautiful!

I look forward to my hydrangeas blooming every year. They are among my favorite plants! Mine are of the old variety (blooms on old wood) and they are very much at the mercy of the weather here in Boston, but this year my hydrangeas have more blooms on them than ever before (and I have had them for about 16 years)! I'm so excited, they are such beautiful flowers.
