I Can Be Sneaky

Tomorrow afternoon I meet with man about my truck. My nephew has been blowing up my phone txing me he wants to come. I don't want him there he thinks I am made of money. I txed him I was going to Ballet tomorrow night, my friend can not make , I hate going alone will he come. Have not had a tx since, sure I will not hear from him till Sunday.

Sneaky? You didn't lie. You didn't mislead. You didn't do anything sneaky. So if your nephew won't text for fear you'll lasso his attendance at the ballet as well as the truck trip, that's his loss.

We had a ballet program at the elementary school one year. The tough farm boys were amazed at the strength required in a performance. Of course, the factoid that many football players take lessons to become more agile on the field didn't hurt either.

Funny how time can change ones opinion. When I was young I though ballet boring, now older I find it graceful and beautiful
