here is a recent pic of that impatiens that snapped off...remember i soaked it in a cup of water for a few days then stuck it in a peat pot and just crossed my fingers....
welllllll it worked!!! look how happy it is!!! i think my thumb is gettin a light shade of green!!!!!

These are considered some of the easier orchids. I hope you can get those fly duck orchids and see if you can get some soil and compost from someone who lives near Eucalyptus trees. The Bletilla orchids on the other hand should work out easy, and give you confidence for any orchid you want.
