Hi, Everybody this is my very first post :bouquet
I have some questions for ya. My garden is full of johnsongrass, polkweeds, and those blasted white cherry tomatoes from last year . Anyway I pull all mentioned up when I do my weekly weeding, but...my onions..well there is more johnsongrass than there is onions. If I pull all the grass out it will of course pull up onions in the process ... so question is can I pull up the grass and just shove the onions that come with back into the dirt or will they not reroot properly and die anyway? :tools

I would suggest pulling what you can pull and leaving the rest trying not to disturb the onions. It would be best to only have 1/2 the weeds and all your onions then risk losing many onions to have no weeds. Weeds are just super evil like that!!!!

BTW, I also use a stirup hoe that helps keep the weeds in check and I don't have to bend over so much. Works in my garden and on my gravel path!!! :D
