My brother spent a year in prison on drug charges a few years ago. He was totally ripped when he came out. Guess all he did was lift weights and fight. :p

I am surprised that you have such a program. I've never heard of that! We this is impossible. But prisoners are often hunted for addresses. In general, these men want to meet women. Often they try to catch the women in the social networks. What is surprising - some women women respond to them. I think it's a woman with problems. Great Shakespeare nervously to smoke away from envy, if he read romantic praises. According to these men, the prison is packed full of fallen angels. Which are just waiting for the light beam of women's participation. And they take the path of truth afterwards.
After becoming acquainted with the "beautiful woman" their back itches at once - there grow wings. I think what one of them "romantic with a big road," wrote the romantic nonsense for everyone. Template one. Hard life (who have it easy?), Bad company, made a mistake, repent, corrected on the loose. "A new life on Monday." But in most cases, their life is 6 days a week, from Tuesday to Sunday.

Nyboy, you're a hoot. Never know what you're going to do next! No more vodka for you! LOL

I cannot imagine who in the world thought it was a good idea to set up a prison pen pal program! Mind blown!

According to George, you can vent your daily problems, tell the world you're "taken" so you can't be a loser, never have to worry that your 'girlfriend' is cheating with another guy, always know where they are, never have to explain why you are late, they are always appreciative of any small token, conjugal visits are always a possibility. For George -- until the prison break -- it was a win/win situation.

My husband and I once had a business and had a very public persona, newspaper ads, radio and TV advertisement. I got a letter from an inmate, probably looking for a gullible idiot. I called the warden of that prison unit and sent the letter to the warden, who assured me it would not happen again, and it didn't. Nyboy, I suggest you contact the warden of the prison unit and tell him what happened. You do not want to go down this road and just ignoring it might not be enough.

When I worked for the state, my office window looked out on the prison activity yard. Lots and lots of young buff bodies, preening and exercising. It's a wonder I didn't try sending them notes out the window. (not)
