I vote for hyacinths. That's what your plants look like from south-est, central-est Wisconsin. I'm not sure what they look like from other parts of the world.

What is seems to me to be is an area overgrown with those big, fragrant hyacinths and their 'babies'. Most of the smaller bulbs won't flower, or will flower with only a few 'bells' on the stem, but once they are done flowering, they can be dug, put in a new spot over a dusting of bone meal, and re-buried for next year.

they haven't changed much since I moved them over from Gramma's, but I will update this post w/ new pics when things start changing. We actually got 1" of snow this morning..... w/ a high of 40, so brrrr. :)

Of course, NOW it looks like a lily. You first showed us a perennial just waking up from its winter nap. It seems that I have an orange lily growing in the sun room. I thought I had a tender house plant until this behemoth popped up.
