Isn't there a TV commercial running right now about someone getting attacked in his truck by a flock of turkeys? I'll be watching next time to see if it was a postman.
This is so funny! Sorry, I do not see it with my own eyes. In my childhood I was a very naughty child. Relatives do not want to invite me for a visit! One grandmother bear with me. I remember that I took from the raven nestling - teenager. I brought it to the village house grandmother. The relatives were also in the party. Ravens tracked me. The house is surrounded by a flock of birds! They yell! My relatives shouted at me even louder! Everyone was afraid to get out of the house-crow immediately attacked. I do not want to give the chick. I wanted to teach him to talk. But my grandmother persuaded me. I came out and said the crows that will give it back. Likely, they did not attack me out of pity for my mind. I carry it - whole flock fly nearby. Then I left him there, where i found.
i remember that happening as a kid when my sister found a baby bluejay that had fallen out of the nest. we were young and no internet to tell us what was best to do with a young chick & no parents in sight of where it landed. sister brought it into the house and a few hours later there was a loud commotion outside. momma & daddy bird and about a couple dozen other jays were outside stomping on the roof asking for their little one back. sister took it outside in a shoebox & put it somewhere near where it was found but more visible for the parents to find it.
I knew I'd seen a commercial with turkeys attacking a truck. It was put out by Farmers Insurance. Cute. Now I wonder if it was intended to parady the mail truck or (as the commercial states) something that really happened to an insured person.
