. it's 27°f, snowing with wind gusts above 20mph. The wind chill has been as low as 9°, overnight and looks like conditions will be about the same, tonight.

What do you have to complain about?

Nothing weather wise. :) And I'm awful glad I don't live in Cheyenne! I'm not tough enough.

But since you asked....had a debilitating migraine yesterday that just wiped out all the plans I had made for an early start and a lot of things checked off the list. :\ But I guess it did give my starts an extra day to harden off.
It will all come together somehow, it always seems to.

I had a good Mothers' Day, and I am thankful for the mild weather we are having, however wet. I trimmed dead branches off the hydrangeas, used the weed eater and quilted. Getting ready to eat some left over beans and ham, so I may be a bit "musical" during yoga tomorrow, in spite of the epazote. I'll have to give fair warning, haha.
And I heard from both my boys regarding Mothers' Day, so I have that to be thankful for, as well. No complaints here.

I had great day too. The weather was beautiful and my neighbor and her daughter came over and we sat on the lawn and built trellis's from trunks we cut from the willow thickets. DH bought ice cream and a bag of Lindors, got HMD wishes from both kids and several friends.
Very thankful.

@so lucky, I think I'm pretty skilled with a weed whip but have never used it for quilting. I'm in total awe of you! ;)

I had to re-string my weed wacker. Is that almost the same thing?

Got that job done on the weeds.

Here's current conditions in Cheyenne. At least, I am fairly sure it will update so should be more-or-less current, whenever you look at it.
