Hi Lis,
I used to live in Arcata. And, I first became aware of the world over the hills from there and from your home - in Redding. Those two communities are worlds away from where I am now.
We had a real good gardener in your part of the world but I think Marshall is in Sebastopol ... Or, he was from there originally and returned to that same neck of the woods after several years at Lake Pillsbury and participating here on the forum. He doesn't seem to be gardening these days.
Anyway, jump in with more bean questions and comments and talk about anything else that you would like to. Welcome!
