It's really filling in out there!

Today I counted 12 cucumbers on my plant (yes, I only have 1 plant that's been blooming... the rest are a few weeks behind to rotate my harvest). I also have 6 silks on my corn stalks... many are just getting the tassels on top... I cheated by going out each day and shaking the stalks when the tassels come out. Can't count on the wind to do a good job when I'm only growing about 15 stalks total. My tomatoes are looking better, and rebounding from the blight. I got to harvest 3 Brandwine tomatoes today, and I could see what is a good 100-200 tomatoes on my remaining plants!!! :bun :bun :bun

If that's not enough I've got 3 canteloupes from a second planting that are now getting their first true leaves.... and I have flower buds on my watermelon plants!!! HOORAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

It makes me so hungry out there.

Do you have any honeydew melons as well?
I hope you will try them, if you like cantaoulpes you'll love honeydews.

I have honeydew seeds in the ground, I have not seen any emerge yet though?! Oh well... I have such a small garden its hard to tell.

By the way... its a lot of tomatoes, but 8 plants are cherry sized.

Hey, i have plenty of honeydew plants if you want, i have too many to plant anyway, if your interested let me know.

Oh you have cherry tomatoes too so i guess a few of those tomatoes will be on the small side.

I'm glad your tomatoes are getting better!!!

I have 6 or 7 cucumber plants but only 2 growing cucumbers - they are not doing well - I think I have crowded them with the sunflowers and beans a bit. I'm learning a lot still.

Anyway... Hooray for your garden and how well it's doing despite some set backs that you've had!!!
