It's turning orange??!

What ever that big vine is, the fruit I posted in the other thread is now changing color! I don't know if that's normal or not. Thoughts?

I had some volunteer winter squash vine/pumpkin vine last year that looked just like that the fruit was small like that and turned orange, they were small but tastey.

If they are the same as mine they won't grow much bigger.

It looks like a pumpkin. Turning orange is what they do! There are all sizes and types of pumpkin.

I had some fun volunteer pumpkins last year. They didn't grow huge, but they made cute fall decorations... Mysteries are always interesting!

I had saved Halloween pumpkin mix seeds and then bought seeds of several different kinds...lol. I just don't want it to be dying.

These fruits are crazy frail!!
Is there a way to secure them before the flower falls? Medium rain, wind any shake of the vine makes them fall and rot!

The second looks to be ready, we didn't notice it at all until I took the pics today.

I just harvested one like that! I had to pull the vine, Vine borrers

well I got one and I will start again maybe I'll get one for Halloween
