They are all doing good, except for 1 plant thats put up a pepper thats about 1" long and PURPLE like an eggplant. I didn't notice it earlier, but I noticed it all the sudden and thought Id ask. My othe r jalapenoes look fine too.

The shape is normal, its just the color thats off. The plant itself looks fine just have never seen this before.

Anybody experience this?

I've had green peppers turn red- but never vise-a-versa.... Just one of natures surprises!!

There are several varieties of purple jalapenos. One of those seeds probably got mixed into your pack. It happens all the time. It could also be a sport (a plant which changes it's genetic makeup after sprouting for no discernable reason.)

Very cool, thank you! Ill have to get some pictures of it and Ill let it keep growing. The plant has more blossoms on it so if they are all purple that could be fun.
