Maybe the thinking is that while you are hibernated up under the AC cold blow staring out the window, watching everything dry up, burn up, shrivel and die, you would like a nice FALL/WINTER catalog to dream over!

yep. that has to be their strategy. I just can't fathom a fall garden when it's beastly outside. I don't even know how anything gets started in our late summers.

Well...I am happy for you that you have such a thing as a fall/winter garden. The only thing I can grow in the winter is snow banks. They just grow and grow and grow.
