I am not in my regular work mood today. I don't want to be here, but have a very busy day. I have a client who is in late 70s maybe older, I give her a 50% discount on boarding and free grooming on her Maltese. I do like this lady and her dog, she visits her grandkids a lot. So that is why big discount. Her dog went home yesterday after spending 3 days with me. Yesterday her dog was bathed, dematted , comb out, nails cut, ear cleaned, checking my notes said trim dogs ears. Her daughter picked up dog. Owner just called me complains her dog wasn't groomed. I said I had no idea what she is talking about I was In the room when her dog was done. She said the dogs hair wasn't cut, I told her I written down trim ears so thats all I cut. Then she whined she wanted whole dog trimmed not just ears. I said I never had this happen before I am speechless. She told me don't worry every one makes mistakes, she will just bring dog back for haircut. I said Pat I am speechless because I never had anyone complain about something that was free. You really would need some pair of balls to call saying your unhappy about something given to you for free. She started making all kinds of excuses even telling me she love me. I told I had paying clients waiting for their dogs I would call her back tonight. Just need to vent 6 more hours til closing.
