Or blanche it and freeze it in serving sizes, especially if you have a vacuum sealer. It will last a long time that way and doesn't take that long to thaw and use it for the table. After it's boiled and tender I add honey, mustard, vinegar, salt and pepper. That's a nice side dish.

I also use it in soup. Of course, I us about everything in soup.

Or kale chips... I thought what on earth when I first heard of them, but they're actually super easy to make and really good! I will know better than to over-salt them next time I make them. A little olive oil and salt go a long way.

I like to blanch it and freeze. Later on, I add it to my spaghetti to get an extra veggie in for the kids.

I have just learned a new meaning for, "julienne." I had to look it up, not wanting to misspell the word. Here it is.

Julienne: 1) Consommé or broth garnished with long thin strips of vegetables.
2) Cut into long thin strips.

Anyway, sure you can make a julienne with kale but you can also julienne kale or most any vegetable and sauté it in oil. It prefer most any vegetable
sautéed rather than boiled. Calories, ya know ;).

sauté: mets composé d'un aliment coupé en morceaux et cuit à feu vif. Using as many French words as possible also adds to a dish!
