We changed out the cover in our SFG (to the thick clear plastic used for winter crops) just to see how the temps ran. After checking the temps and average sunshine, I decided to give this cool weather crop thing a try and directly sowed into our planter. This morning (well, yesterday morning..working nights things get a little confusing!) there was nice condensation and it looked like a proper little green house. Fingers crossed!:fl

Checked the thermometer this afternoon-inside the cover it was 70 degrees, and DH just checked (about midnite 30 here), and the inside temp was 40 degrees. Should be ok, don't ya think?

That is pretty low but I dont think it would kill it, just slow it a little. The getting to 70 during the day will help turn that around though. I planted some in my indoor grow light greenhouse just to see if it will work.
