I was out last weekend and spotted a table of these at Lowes. LOVE at first sight! Soo pretty, they look like a watercolor come to life.
This wasn't a planned stop for the day, in fact it was just the place we had agreed to meet for our shopping day (Lowes, next to the sheds & plants) so I only bought one.
The tag info is pretty sketchy... what can yall tell me about them?

They stay evergreen through the winter and begin blooming late Feb. early March, They're pretty tough, and not particularly fussy about
soil. They seem to be fairly long lived also. Congratulations on your new addition!
I like the maroons and pink colors best.

Hummm.. the flash washes out the color a little bit...
Please excuse the less than ideal background. I haven't cleaned up from finishing the chicken tractor yet... :hide

The blooms open green, then start to fade through pinks to almost white. :love

Oh Lesa, you need to get some! They bloom while there's still snow on them some years. It's a real treat on a wintry day to see one opened up.
