Look What I Just Planted!!

One of the blessings of living in the desert is being able to grow things in the winter!! My basils were going to seed, so I transplanted all the herbs and Swiss Chard that were in the Wheelbarrow planter and replaced them with STRAWBERRIES!!!

They have a few new "plantlets" and are really nice looking plants. I got them at Lowe's Garden Dept.

So... the plan is that by early Spring I will have some berries.

Lucky you! My strawberries are buried under straw right now, about to be covered in snow! Enjoy your growing season!
