While roses are full sunners, some o better with a little shade.

Looking for varieties that can hack some shade and still produce?

Try "Iceberg", it's a really great all around rose that does fine with shade ( it's a floribunda ). The Carefree wonder roses are good, and "Meipitac" blooms in shadier conditions. I don't know this one, but"Ballerina (hybrid musk) is supposed to also do well, and it can be grown as a climber. I'm sure there are lots more... have fun! :)

ETA: Of course as I'm sure you know April, but I'll just add, that all roses need some sun, and theres varying degrees of shade, dense shade won't make a rose happy.
