How about annuals?

Okay. I can be in both camps . Since they have to be in a very, very protected location to survive as a perennial in a colder, temperate Winter – how about Snapdragons? Lifting above smaller, border plants, contrasting from  face flowers, available in many, beautiful colors (!), they have a gentle, pleasant fragrance. You can even grow those that don't  snap at you!
