It is just about 7 weeks since the last rain which amounted to 1/4".

That early September rainstorm followed one in July, about 7 weeks previous, of 1/4" plus. It looks like we just might get another 1/4" of rain from the drizzle overnight and what will fall today and tonight. There may be more rain through the weekend but if I was given to holding my breath waiting for the "rain" mentioned by the forecasters .... I'd be dead!

A tenth of an inch of rain counts for nothing. The dead tree leaves from the trees stick to your shoes ... A quarter inch won't help but the lawn grass might appreciate it. I very, very much hope that we don't have to wait for another Lucky 7 and what we really need at this time of year is first some rain then snow, snow, snow.

Steve, I will gladly let you have all the snow that might want to fall around here. Heck, I'll even let you have all the freezing rain that usually falls here. I'll just keep the regular rain.

We're getting some rain now. :)
Looks like an all day event today too, and judging by what accumulated in the wheelbarrow yesterday, we didn't do too bad.

It's looking great, Thistle'!

The radar picture this AM is much the same as when I went to bed last night. It may clear for several hours but the storm on the other side of the Cascades is IMpressive!

Last night, Felts Field (ha! autocorrect wants it Celts Field) had it as .14" for yesterday's storm. Shoot. We had .24" in a single small hour of this morning! And, plenty of raindrops all around that hour!

Right at 1" of rain fell :).

The kids had a windy but dry outting, last night. If'n they didn't jump in any puddles!

It was windy but with temperatures 14°f above normal - some central Washington communities had record highs leading up to the storm. It looks like there may be a few more sprinkles so everyone can stay indoors with the candy ...
