Does anyone grow it? Also known as corn salad. If you grow it, how is it used? Raw in salads, or cooked? Barely wilted, like spinach, or boil the daylights out of it, like collards?

I grew it so long ago I barely remember, but I must have used it in salads, because I'm not a big fan of cooked greens. Not that I've had a lot of cooked greens since being on my own, but mom cooked a lot of spinach and she did a fine job, it just wasn't something I developed a craving for.

I've grown it once. And, tried twice more.

Mache doesn't have a lot to distinguish it from lettuce. I thought it was great. A mild salad green, that starts and grows very early ...

My failures involved trying to start the seed later in the year. Or, I just didn't have good seed. It failed to germinate and I blamed hot and dry conditions.
