Stopped by Lowes for paint, trees on clearance. Picked up 6 nice magolia and 4 dogwood 2 white 2 pink all for under $100. I have planted dogwood before, only 2 out of 8 lived. Now Lowes has a card that keeps track of all purchaces so you don't need to keep receipts to return dead trees. Not sure where I am going to plant 10 more trees.

Lowes has secret customer ID cameras in the parking lot. Sounds like they have Nyboy's car tag numbers and they alert the garden dept when he parks. Before he gets out of the car, employees rush to put up the SALE signs because the customer card has identified him as one who cannot pass by a tree on sale without buying it. The customer card is chipped and further alerts the employees that their dream customer has arrived. QUICK! Mark down those last magnolias and dogwoods left over from this spring! This guy will buy them ALL!!

That sure is a lot of trees Nyboy. Too bad is too far away from me to make it worthwhile. Maybe that's a good thing. Home Depot is close by but that get's old pretty fast.
