Making pickles

My little leaf cucumbers are really coming on now. I have one batch of dill pickles fermenting in a crock and it looks like I have to start thinking about making another batch real soon. They are supposed to be compact plants, but in the greenhouse they have grown to the peak and are well on their way down the other side.

Oh how lucky you are! I am getting a pickling book from the library,but nothing in the yard to pickle,can,or jam!
