Would it be possible to ship manure?

I'm looking for some manure for my garden and was wondering if anyone had some they wanted to give away, i'll be happy to pay for the shipping.

Thanks!!

Hi there! :frow

Try to find a local stable that gives riding lessons or boards a lot of horses, they will have mounds of the stuff & will be glad to let you take away.

I'm lucky as I have a neighbour who breeds ponies who will bring it round to me!

I have bought bags of manure at Lowes... not very expensive.. I use it to top dress, since I cant get a whole truck load to spread..used to get it from a farmers barn cleaning.. goat manure is great for gardens

Thanks everyone for the replies, i might just get some at a garden store but not sure they would have rabbit manure, i really want rabbit manure in the garden since it doesnt need to be aged.

Might try contacting your local 4-H club to see if any of the kids are raising rabbits...maybe a pet store will hold some bunny berries for you.

Another option is to see if there are any "house rabbits" near you via the House Rabbit Society. Maybe you need your own bunnies.

You might try looking for a rabbit rescue program in your area. There are several in my area...people get the kids a rabbit or two for easter or whatever and then decide it's not something they want to do. I know one lady who runs a rescue program used to advertise on freecycle.org for free bags of shavings and manure. She never had a problem getting rid of it. :)

I believe the stuff you buy at Lowes is already aged, so it doesnt' need to be rabbit manure.
