I want to wish all my friends here on TEG a very Merry Christmas. May we be blessed with health, happiness, great gardens, peace and love in this coming New Year.
As a young guy, I had a lot of fun in San Fran. It shaped some of how I think about people. I was such a bumpkin .
San Francisco helped me understand that not only was I okay but many other folks are okay, too.
When it isn't so dreary outdoors, I'll think of an appropriate image from where I find myself and put it on here. Rather than miss the chance of telling you "Merry Christmas" before you run off into the hinterland, I'll say that now and run off on some of my errands!
From me too, I hope everybody has the best one ever no matter how you celebrate this festive season. For me it's all about peace and good will, family and the turkey dinner I don't have to cook anymore, just enjoy. I still do New Years, huge baron of beef for beef dip, assorted salads and frozen lemon mousse for dessert. I used to have everybody here but the gang has grown over the years so I make everything and take it over to our daughters, they have much more room plus they have a dish washer .
Steve, that picture was taken a couple days ago and submitted to the news station. I plan on going into the city tomorrow afternoon for a Christmas tea and then walking down the streets looking at all the decorations.
I like how San Francisco made you such a wonderful person.
Merry Christmas to all and a Happy New Year. May the Peace and Joy of the season find a place in your hearts and homes this year and all the years to come.
