Mocking birds

eating my tomatoes and now woodpeckers eating my pears!!! The birds have it in for me this year! I removed most of the pears from my little sagging pear tree, but did leave a few for me - or so I thought. I'm thinking a BB gun may be necessary.

what about some sheer fabric, almost like tulle? I had bird netting, but it was a tangled mess so I threw it out last year.

I have my pears, apples & peaches covered with those little bags I made out of row cover... and so far, nothing has gotten them. A couple bags fell off and I didn't end up making enough due to life getting in the way. So I'll have at least a handful to eat this year. Good plan!

I do vote for the BB gun... I love mine!!!

Yup, I'll just get a handfull too. My poor little tree makes me laugh every time I see it.
