Oooh, I like that! :love I love the bicolor roses. Nice splash pattern on this one.

:ep That is a breath taker for sure! :thumbsup I cant wait till next planting season, and surround our family with beautiful flowers like I see everyone else having.. baby steps tho.. can get costly!!


lol --oh dear, another edit, I meant to say planting season not panting season.. tho that flower made me pant

That is why I do not worry about the aphids...because this is the time the ladybug larvae are everywhere!!

I love your " Purple Tiger" & would love to grow it. The nearest I get is "Ferdinand Pichard"

It has a wonderful perfume & is repeat flowering. It becomes more purple as the flower matures. In this photo photo it looks as if the splashing is very even buton my bush (about 5 years old) it is more random like your "Purple Tiger".

I have always loved these purple varieties since I first got interested in roses. My love of them was fostered by a teacher of mine when I was at Art School -- she had a wonderful collection of them & would bring them in for us to enjoy. She only grew old roses, which I had never seen , having been bought up on the very stiff hybrid teas etc. I could not believe the beautiful scents coming from hers -- so I was hooked for life...!!
