the past half year or so i've been enjoying listening to these two guys their group is called "The Milk Carton Kids" two guys, guitars, and that's it (don't tell me they sound like S&G)...

they have two albums available online for free, plus a full length live concert (skip the first moments of them talking about halloween) which is very funny and good at times (nerd humor). a swear word makes an appearance, but the music and their talking back and forth and the audience is just fantastic.

i'm trying to not overplay them but once a week or so i queue them up.

other music i listen to are my own edits of the Lord of the Ring soundtracks and some Game of Thrones compilations. i don't actually watch either of them, but i love the music.

and then i have all of my cd's (progressive rock, classical and some folk music story tellers) on the computer here i can listen to but i've heard them all so many times i have them all memorized and running on my ear-worm track anyways.

ok, well, time for brunch and then i gotta go prep and bake the last of the squash. or at least see how it stored in the garage. usually we bring it in before it gets this cold and frozen. hmm...

:) cheers and happy listening...

Favorite song? Listened to a couple. Good guitarists.

I have to admit although old and decrepit I still love listening to Santana, still my favorite, Willie and Lobo. Liona Boyd, B.B. King, Jesse Cook, Eric Clapton... the list goes on :).

@seedcorn there are some songs i like more than others but hard to pick favorites...

i'll list some of them: Laredo, Ash and Clay, On Their Own, Broken Headlights and New York. but there's probably a dozen others i could put here if i could remember their titles... :)

tonight i am enjoying Mark Knopfler concert:

there is no video with it, but the music is always good from Mark and his crew... :)

and as usual wandering (and wondering around the internet):

this gal has been shredding me lately

if you have time go back to her first appearance on the show and follow along the songs she did for that and then see how she's progressed over the years.

start here:

i only found her last week and went along for a while and then tried a few of her original songs and she got me even more...

enjoy :)
