Wow, the only flowers in my yard are wildflowers, aka weeds. I can grow veggies but flowers seem to hate me. I did manage not to kill some sweet peas one year but only that one year.

Wow... and I mean WOW! you have some serious patience. I need to sit and make a collective list myself as they've gotten so out of hand, I can't even begin to remember what I have!!!

Thanks for the motivation! :rainbow-sun

White Trillium - Trillium Grandiflora - just as it was starting to bloom. all the trilliums bloomed late last year for some reason (despite the early spring)

Missouri Suncups - Oenothera Missouriensis - One of my favourite plants; I love them for there beauty, and astoundingly prolific growth habits. They spread, self-seed, and the even have autumn foliage color. Early in spring, the foliage is purple, then it turns green all summer, then Bright red.

Here is a Cactus Daisy (Gazania Splendens), with a rather rude Heliotrope butting in.

Cosmos - Cosmos Bipinnatus - These were great bloomers. The don't need dead-heading and they just wouldn't stop blooming all summer! And the seed is very easy to harvest, and germinate.

And I know you're all itching to see my garden in whole, so here is the 2011 garden shape. It's going to be much tighter and more stuffed this year...

Of course! Do you want Heaven to just smell like Clouds and Angelwings? Naw! Ther need to be Flowers! I only have a couple of Foliage Plants, like Orpine, Coralbells, and Groundsel, although all of them flower, they have more astounding foliage.

So Detlor Poultry, you apparently don't free-range your chickens? ;) The flowers are beautiful, by the way.
