Gardening is a new experience which is literally growing on me. I'm so new, and learning every day! A few weeks ago I grabbed some (more like a lot!) of seed packets of what I wanted to experiment with and planted them in a perfect area.

Being new, I had no idea what was a weed and what was a seedling. I finally figured out what my Radishes looked like and I was delighted! They are big and beautiful, and I'm so surprised at how fast they are growing.

I also found my corn, bush beans, peas, squash, and some carrot sprouts just breaking through the dirt in the morning and then finding 2 inch tall beans the next day!:ep We've been getting amazing, beautiful weather and I've been giving them enough water.

I was so amazed at how they can just grow and grow. Just from a little seed. How wonderful. It makes me so excited to think of what everything will look like in a month or so.

It may be something so simple as a tiny sprout but what hope it brings! :D

Isn't it just bewildering!!!

I think part of the excitement is just seeing what grows from such a seed. I traded for certain types of flowers over the winter and have been caring for them since I started them inside in January and Febuary!

I have no idea how big they will get or what color the flowers will be... I'm still watching in amazement.

Now you see the magic in gardening and it is GOOD!!!!! :D

welcome to a very fun cult of personalities in gardening :)

it is amazing you feel so connected to the things around you

and gardens make you work hard ..they make you feel competative with yourself in a relaxing way ..kind of like playing tennes or riding a mountain bike ..you get a good physical and mental work out

so you, plan for, nurture and grown things
connect with nature
eat what you grow
spend money upgrading
make compost from your garbage
put it back in the garden
grow bigger and better things...
get a heck of a work out
sleep better, eat better and live better
and always have something beautiful and changing to see, feel, hear and taste!

and people hate this??? I will never get that!

I am new this year also and planting from seed for the first time and it rocks. I can't get over the great feeling I get when I look and wow they are huge but they were once so tiny.
