This is what I picked last night. That giant tomato was a challenge to get - I had to crawl on my hands and knees to get to it in that jungle! The green tomatoes are casualties from staking more plants last night. I had several that were on the ground and the fruit rotted. :(

My canning kit finally came yesterday so I'll be canning my peppers today!:)

I am so jealous. That looks great. I have a couple cherry tomatoes starting and two peppers that are getting fairly good size. I live up north so our gardens take a bit longer. Be sure to post any good recipes. I have been looking for some good pickled pepper recipe.

WOW!

I can only hope that by mid-August, I am taking similar pictures :) That looks awesome!

How many bean plants did you plant? That looks like a TON of beans, right there.

I'm already giving zukes to the neighbors but my maters need at least another two or three weeks. They are getting good sized but no color yet.

We're just now starting to get squash - some zukes are ready to pick. My tomatoes are coming on, but no color yet. I was able to pick a green bell pepper to take to the market today (yes, only 1) but I'll have more next week. We took onions, new potatoes, some small carrots, cabbages, beets, and the very last of my buttercrunch lettuce. And I dug a few fresh garlics. All of our greens (kale, turnip, mustard, and spinach) are gone - too hot for them.

Wow! That looks fantastic! The only tomatoes I have that are anywhere near ready are my sweet millions. It has maybe eight fruit that are just about ripe. Other than that, all my maters are still green. I did pick a nice zuchini yesterday along with a bunch of beans, some onion, and a couple ears of corn. My cukes and peppers are still just teeny tiny little things. Great harvest!
