before you buy any more tomato seeds let me know. i may be able to send you some of my collection if you are in need. i have a lot of Russian heirlooms i got this year so i have plenty of extra seed to spare. plus ones i saved from the past 2 years of growing other heirlooms.

this is where i've gotten a lot of my tomatoes from the past 5 years. http://ohioheirloomseeds.com/t/tomato-seeds
if he has it listed i more than likely have it. about the only ones i may not have because i don't care for their taste are the black or purple with the exception of the Black Roma, Purple Russian, & Chocolate Cherry.

Thank you for the offer and the link! That is very kind of you. Most of the seeds I already have and one of the reasons for so many different kinds. I just use a few seeds of each, so always have a lot left over. :)

GWR, it sounds like you have a big garden. How big is your land/garden?

Mary

My whole yard with house and everything is only 1/4 acre, but I use some of the front, side, and most of the back. I plant things close, really close. I do not really plant a lot of each thing. I start the seeds and get them hardened off, tomatoes and stuff, and I might have 2 of something, 1 of something, 3 or 4. I put them in the area I plan, and then I give the rest away to the neighbors and people at church. It really fits, sort of :hu :gig

Holy plants!!!

Before you go putting that celery seed in soil make sure to read the Is Celery Worth It? thread ;P

I already have the seed and I have some in the freezer. I was not going to plant any, but my friend in Kansas is going to and so, well, I have to. LOL. We compete with each other.

That's a HUGE list! :th And sounds tasty! :drool

I guess if I had 100 foot rows of each then it would be, but like the lettuce I just have short little rows, and real close, so a little row of different kinds of lettuce, and just little short rows, not even rows, just like across a box 4 feet wide, and have some white Swiss Chard, orange, yellow. I would never do this if I had to buy all the seed this year. I use some of 2016, 2015, 2014, and who knows how old. I think I need to see lists from other people. My friend in Kansas always said a cucumber is a cucumber and only planted Straight 8. Tomatoes are tomatoes and only planted Jet Star. She has started trying new things and this year no Jet Stars on her list and several tomatoes, several cucumbers, and Swiss Chard, celery. Her husband is getting so mad. :gigHe wants to be retired and have a SMALL garden.
