OMG we forgot to check the zucchini for TOO LONG .... Now that DH is out of town for a week I decided I better have a Look. I have not weighed them. It is a lot. Going to give away what I can. And watch the plants closer as I really do not like the Really Big ones. Some of the bigger ones are 1/2 the length of the wagon. :th(on bottom layer so you don't see all of them!)

I like growing squash. Beautiful squash, CarolD!

Winter squash is a wonderful food but I don't really care for summer squash ... except zucchini bread! I hasten to add. I recently turned down a serving of Chinese restaurant food because there was so much zucchini in it. The squash didn't ruin it for me, just that I don't care for it.

But, I'm in charge of picking it! That's problematic. I have 2 days out of the week, I'm harvesting beautiful zucchini. It isn't often ENUF!

I need an every-other-day schedule.

I swear they grow several feet per night! We had our first one, steamed last night. I thought I was buying 2 cuke plants, and ended up with one zucchini. Surprise!

Those are nice Carol Dee! If all else fails you can play zucchini baseball with them.
I was going to plant some but my neighbor begged me not too. Apparently she's expecting her plants to start burying her with fruit very soon.

Yep we will have plenty to share! I always beg DH not to plant so many! LOL But he counts on the vines dying before he gets too sick of them and we still had plenty to share.
