my mantis

i have about 4 of these, they tend to stay put on their favorite plant .. i understand they are good, but that they dont discriminate with the bugs they eat .. i have not found any nests in my yard, but i am on the look out .. i found this mantis on my vetch while i was picking seed pods .. they scare me at first, then im ok with them .. i liked him, thought i'd share ..

Blackbird yes, i read up on them after i took its pic, and they are not so loving after the fact ..
